Tooth wear is the third most common oral pathology after caries and periodontal disease. It is often overlooked in practice, yet creates daily challenges for most general dentists and can lead to long term implications for the longevity of your dentistry.
Using a systematic approach to diagnosis, and an inter-disciplinary planning approach, the programme builds a structure for assessing and managing tooth wear in your office, using the latest evidence and digital tools. This exclusive 6 month mentoring programme aims to help dentists develop the necessary design, diagnostic and restorative skills to diagnose and treat cases of tooth wear and apply occlusal and reconstructive concepts to any case, with greater confidence and predictability.
Full of practical skills and evidence-based advice, you will start to look at your patients differently and expand your range of care. Supported by her knowledgable team, there will be take-home applications for the entire dental office.
Geared for both analogue and digital practices, Dr Shepperson will share her extensive knowledge of Digital Smile Design, Risk Assessment based planning, occlusal concepts and an inter-disciplinary approach to care. Become more confident, expand your services and deliver better long term outcomes for your patients.

AIM Education is coming to New Zealand!
Immediate Implants:
Providing patients with ever increasing predictability, while decreasing costs, time and morbidity, are important considerations in dental implantology.
Understanding how to atraumatically remove teeth, preserve hard & soft tissues and thereby increase the possibility of immediate implant placement is a key skill. Southern Implants have created site specific implants that fit into this treatment concept. Learn how to use these techniques and implant products to increase your predictability.
Bone Grafting:
Bone Grafting procedures in implant dentistry are a common necessity. Current literature shows between 70- 90% of dental implant procedures are accompanied with some form of bone grafting protocol.
To ensure ideal implant position and long term health the use of bone grafting protocols either prior to or at the time of implant placement is a requirement.
PRF Grafting:
The use of PRF related products has been shown to improve bone graft material handling, decrease costs and improve both hard and soft tissue healing.
Learning Objectives:
DAY 1 (Immediate Implants):
• Diagnosis & Treatment Planning for Immediacy
• Patient Selection Parameters
• Planning Implant Positions
• Immediate Implant Surgical Protocols
• Grafting Procedures with Immediate Implants
• Postoperative Protocols to Decrease Complications

• Anatomy of Mandibular & Maxillary Sockets
• Diagnosis of Bone Deficiencies
• Selection of Bone Graft Materials
• Management of Deficiencies
