The impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the restrictions on daily dental practise are significant. Dental practitioners must now review and reassess how they undertake restorative treatment for their emergency and urgent dental patients to ensure they are providing the most effective and appropriate clinical management. This on-line presentation will look at unravelling some of the confusion, and assisting practitioners with strategies to clinically manage their patients for a range of presenting conditions.
The webinar will cover the following important issues;
- Assessing patients - Is treatment essential, or can it be deferred?
- Clinical strategies for managing patient concerns
- Adapting and modifying the principles of ART Dentistry
- Minimising interventions, minimising aerosols, minimising risks, and maximising outcomes
- Using the appropriate material and technique for each individual situation
- Making the most of GICs - far more than just a temporary restorative material
- Clinical scenarios and case presentations
