A Night with Prof. Ian Meyers – Mastering Worn Dentition for Optimal Restoration
Renowned Restorative Dentist, Professor Ian Meyers, invites you to an engaging and informative evening dedicated to the intricacies of managing worn dentition. Professor Meyers will guide participants through a hands-on experience, emphasising strategies for conservative management, oral environment stabilisation, and the effective use of new materials and techniques for cost-effective, aesthetic results. The evening will include 3 CPD hours, as well as opportunities for networking over drinks and food.

- Clinical Evaluation of Patients:
- Reviewing patient cases to understand the nuances of worn dentition.
- Utilising risk assessment tools to gauge the impact of a patient's health and lifestyle.
- Emphasising the importance of treatment planning before restoration.
- Oral Environment Management:
- Exploring the correlation between dry mouth, salivary acidity, and severe tooth wear.
- Conducting examinations, salivary analysis, and implementing remineralization strategies.
- Stabilising the oral environment and reducing risks before embarking on the restoration process including the benefits of AIRFLOW® technology.
- New Materials and Techniques:
- Evaluating a range of materials and techniques for cost-effective, conservative management with a focus on aesthetics.
- Providing step-by-step procedures for participants to compare various materials and techniques applicable to direct and semi-direct restorations.
- Hands-on Experience:
- Engage in simulation exercise covering restoration technique for worn dentition.
