Event Details...
Rationale and treatment protocol for performing alveolar ridge preservation in patients who need to have teeth extracted. The ridge preservation technique is scientifically supported to provide benefits for patients receiving both implant therapy and prosthodontic therapy.
This program will also cover minor bone grafting techniques for implant placement. The treatment protocols will be supported by the scientific literature and a hands on component enabling participants to experience the handing of different materials.
Learn to:
- identify when and how to use ridge preservation procedures
- determine which materials provide the most predictable and stable treatment outcomes
- implement a simple decision tree for patients
- implement minimally traumatic techniques for extractions and soft tissue handling into daily practice.
