Both Stephen and Arnie have spent the past 4 years practicing Dr Abe's Suction Denture Impression method and completed Master Instructor training with Dr Abe. This experience enables them to teach these techniques combining them with the new Digital CAD and Manufacturing process.

The lectures, clinical and laboratory demonstrations will highlight the new techniques for achieving suction and stability on a lower denture including the exclusive design software and coordinated materials, combined with digital manufacturing strategies to provide predictable and consistent results.

Stephen and Arnie's passion, the use of BPS-SEMCD clinical and technical approaches, combined with Digital workflows, will enhance the final outcome for your dentures and patient experience.

The course, will be held in the ICDE clinic with a patient provided by Ivoclar Vivadent. The participants will be seeing, BPS - SEMCD Digital techniques. Stephen and Arnie will be taking primary impression and secondary impression, including bite registration. Model preparation, tray design set-up of pin tracer both digital and analogue.

Learning Objectives

Comprehensive clinical, technical and digital training on the steps in producing a BPS SEMCD Digital Dentures.

Participants will see: the primary, frame cut back tray (FCB) and secondary impression techniques, and learn to overcome the challenges of full denture treatment. Students will be encouraged to practice the following skills in their own clinics:

• Understand the importance of BPS SEMCD Clinical to the success of Digital Dentures
• Develop an understanding of the Digital Denture workflows
• Examination of suitability for suction-effective dentures
• Primary impression using Accudent XD & frame cut back tray (FCB)
• Scanning and Design Custom tray & Gnathometer CAD and conventional Gnathometer
• Final functional BPS SEMCD impressions + Scanning and Design of Digital Try in.
• Determining the vertical and horizontal position with the Gnathometer CAD (M) or wax rims
