COURSE DETAILS:

This course integrates the knowledge and the practice for orofacial pain and dental sleep medicine.
We also acknowledge that starting in a new field can be difficult and stressful, so we will offer 2 months of a study club, with access to our instructors where you can present your cases, or benefit from seeing others cases and improve your knowledge and clinical skills.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

The current best practice evidence will be presented to explain: The examination, diagnosis and treatment of multiple orofacial pain and sleep disorders.

• Clinical cases will be presented which apply the evidence-based practice for:
• Myofascial and arthrogenous temporomandibular disorders
• Obstructive sleep Apnoea and other sleep disorders
• Cervical disorders that impact orofacial pain
• Neuropathic orofacial pain disorders
• Headache disorders
• Red flags to recognize during an orofacial pain examination
