Revolutionary improvements within 3D printing are making digital RPD production more profitable for labs. 3Shape's Removable Partial Denture Design software lets technicians place virtual teeth that guide them for better framework design while reducing production time by 60-70%. A technician can now design a Removable Partial Denture in around 25 minutes.

During this workshop participants will see the Digital Metal Partial workflow from beginning to end and gain insight into the steps and the processes involved.
The day will comprise of the following presentation:
• Metal partial design basics
• Conventional vs digital
• Milling and printing videos
• Additions to existing partials

The versitility of the 3Shape software. 

 

Objectives: 

Practical demonstration of the processes will then cover the following utilising the 3Shape Metal Partial Design software and the Asiga Max UV Printer:
• Setting it up in the backend of 3Shape software
• Order form setup - basic and advanced designs
• Complete workflow of multiple designs (upper and lower)
• Workflow for additions and repairs for existing partials
• Error messages and ways to deal with them
• Nesting and printing your frame designs
• Investing and casting
