Endodontics...3 Core Skills for Predictable Outcomes

ACCESS, GLIDE PATH PREPARATION AND OBTURATION

A series of 3 short lectures designed for dentists who are already practicing rotary endodontics and would like to focus on upskilling in these three critical areas.

• Access preparations
• Mechanical preparation of the glide path
• Obturation – perfecting warm vertical obturation techniques

Participants will have an opportunity to prepare an access cavity using burs and ultrasonic instruments. Practice mechanical glide path preparation using rotary NiTi instruments combined with the latest technology in endodontic motors. Using heated gutta percha and warm vertical condensation, participants can also perfect their obturation technique.


Course Objectives

• Understanding important factors that determine endodontic success
• Learn a safe and efficient, biological based sequence for using NiTi files
• Mechanical glide path preparation using the latest technology - OGP mode (Optimum Glide Path) with the new Mo rita Tri Auto ZX2
• Learn about the use of ultrasonic instruments for access preparations
• How to achieve optimal results using heated gutta percha and warm vertical obturation techniques to match your NiTi preparations
