Using interactive, case-based methods, this workshop will introduce participants to the basics of evidence-based dentistry.
We will focus on glass ionomer, silver diamine fluoride, and minimal intervention dentistry.
Our goals are to give you a fresh look at the "evidence" by:
- Sharing methods for getting the current best evidence in 5 minutes or less, as this applies to your clinical practice, and your personal and family health care.
- Provide training using computers to fi nd the evidence, and clinical appraisal worksheets to evaluate the evidence.
