The intended audience for this event includes:

The stability of the hard and soft-tissue around dental implants is the key to achieving long-term aesthetic success. There are a number of factors that influence the stability of the soft-tissue margin over time. These include, but are not limited to, prosthetically planned implant placement, patient phenotype, alveolar ridge dimension, the platform switching concept, the prosthetic design, along with implant and abutment characteristics.

During this hands-on workshop, both vertical and horizontal bone augmentation techniques will be discussed and trialled by attendees. This will include the use of resorbable and non-resorbable membrane, tenting screws or microplates, new 3D scaffolding procedures, with a particular focus on biomaterials and surgical techniques.

The focus on patient satisfaction mandates acceptable management of both the aesthetic zone and posterior areas. Therefore, bone regeneration techniques must be complemented by soft tissue management in the form of appropriate incision design, suturing techniques and thickening with connective tissue grafting and/or collagen matrices, that protects the healing and results in an optimal final outcome.
