The most recent innovations in Endodontic instrument design offer the clinician an expanded armamentarium to safely and efficiently clean curved root canals.
The design of the new endodontic ultrasonic tips can make locating and accessing root canals safer and easier. Warm gutta percha obturation produces a denser, more homogeneous, better adapted root canal filling when compared to lateral condensation.
This course will detail advances in instruments and techniques to clean, shape and fill root canals.
Participants will have the opportunity to trial the Protaper Next system, Vortex Blue instruments and the Gutta Core system
Topics include
- Refining access with the Start-X tips
- Establishing a Predictable Glide Path
- Asymmetrical rotary motion – the Protaper Next system
- Vortex Blue instrumentation
- Gutta Core canal obturation
- Down pack and back fill obturation with the Calamus unit
