The intended audience for this event includes:

This online and face-to-face course, presented by the Cynergex Group, incorporates training and hands-on experience in both first aid and CPR. Two highly experienced ambulance paramedics will guide you through a series of topics and simulation exercises. You and your staff will be engaged and entertained!

Topics for discussion include:

  • principles of first aid
  • priorities of first aid
  • approach to an incident
  • cardio-pulmonary resuscitation
  • airway and breathing management
  • use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Completion of the online first aid workbook is an integral and important part of this course. Material covered includes

  • the secondary survey (examination of the patient)
  • medical emergencies including basic pharmacology
  • basic trauma injuries.
