Registrants at this interactive hands-on course will receive instruction on:

  • Scanning cases with Cerec and definitive restorative proposal design using Cerec 4.2 Chairside design software
  • Exporting the definitive restorative proposal in ssi format and importing into Galaxis Implant Planning software
  • Utilization of the precision surgical implant placement guides to construct precise fitting provisional restorations prior to surgical placement of the planned implants.

    Implant planning within the Galaxis Implant Planning software with reference to such parameters as:

  1. vital anatomical structures
  2. alveolar bone contours and density
  3. ideal emergence profiles and abutment screw access pertaining to the overlying definitive restorative proposal
  4. the need for hard or soft tissue grafting procedures differing implant restorative options: screw retained or cement retained and differing cad cam restorative options
  5. ordering and subsequent utilization of different precision surgical implant placement guides: Sicat Classis Guide, Sicat Optiguide and Cerec Guide.

The aims of the course are for delegates to:

  • Obtain a relatively in depth overview of Cerec/Galileos/Sicat Precision Surgical Guide 3D integration.
  • Discover the advantages of both “Top Down” implant planning and Precision Guided Implant Surgery
  • Obtain hands-on experience in the technology and software
  • Acquire a degree of confidence either to embark on their own cases or extend their current realm of experience
  • Broaden their implant planning and treatment repertoire.
