Join Dr Stuart Kilner (UK) for this immersive course which will examine immediate implant placement with EthOss Synthetic Bone Graft. The course will include a series of lectures and case reviews covering:
- An overview of techniques for placing an implant with immediate load or delayed load
- Theory on immediate loading in the aesthetic zone – with case review
- Theory on upper molar immediate placement delayed load – with case review
- Tenting technique case presentation
- Theory and case review: Building Augmented Height with EthOss
In the afternoon there will be a hands-on practical session with mouth models covering:
- Ideal EthOss mixing and placing consistency
- Handling EthOss – experience packing and placing wet/drier and harder mixes and discuss when and why you would use them
- Achieving vertical height build-up with EthOss
- Why no separate membrane is needed - experience EthOss setting – how to set it, how long does it take, how do you know when it is set, mechanics and chemistry of the setting process
- Troubleshooting - how quickly do you need to work with it, placing EthOss as it starts to set
- Suturing techniques - tenting technique
The day will conclude with an opportunity for Q&A.
