This Surf Life Saving WA CPR course delivers the essential principles, knowledge and skills to maintain breathing and circulation in an emergency situation. Participants will learn when to start CPR and what steps to follow. This course is based on the very latest policies and standards of the Australian Resuscitation Council.
Topics will include:
- Casualty assessment
- Emergency action principles
- External cardiac compressions
- One and two operator Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation rates and techniques
- Procedure for placing a patient in the recovery position.
