Obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) is a common disorder, affecting approximately 4% of men and 2% of women in the middle-aged workforce, as well as children and the elderly. In the past 15 years there has been an increasing recognition of the dental aspects of the disorder, from both pathophysiological and therapeutic points of view.
This course will inform you about the diagnosis, management and treatment modalities for OSA, and to consider the role of the dentist in this field.
