There are many viewpoints on what is the ideal diet for humans. Is it the Paleolithic diet, semi-fasting, the Mediterranean diet, or the all-organic diet? Should we be influenced by what we were eating 10,000 years or 100,000 years ago?

We shall assess the pros and cons of the different ways to eat. In my opinion there is one clear winner, but you will have to make your decision. Some feel that we should all be eating a vegetarian or vegan diet and eschew meat, while others will argue that humans evolved as meat eaters and we should be eating animal flesh for health and weight control. This seminar will help you to find your own “truth” about eating.

Everyone has an opinion on food, eating and what is the best supplement for health. Most of these opinions are shaped by family, friends, television and websites. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if everyone sought a more accurate view of nutrition based on science rather than emotive opinion? But who has the time? Where do you look and who do you believe?

During this seminar we shall explore why myths exist and the best way to debunk the myth. We shall look at sugar, sweeteners and whatever is topical in September 2014. Naturally, bring your own questions on the nutritional truisms you have heard over the years.
