Event Details...
The use of photography in dentistry has revolutionised the way clinicians diagnose and treat their patients. This course will teach the fundamentals of digital SLR photography and the principles of flash systems and lighting techniques.
The opportunity for hands-on learning using your own camera and equipment will be provided, as well as other camera systems. All delegates will receive a set of intra-oral mirrors and retractors as part of the course fee.
Topics Covered
- Basic principles of single lens reflex (SLR) photography.
- Optimal use of intra-oral mirrors and retractors.
- Shade analysis through photographs for ceramic and composite layering.
- Lighting techniques for intra oral photography
- Workflow management including cataloguing.
- Smile diagnosis and rehabilitation design.
- Learn how to use your own photography equipment or what to look for if purchasing.
What to bring if you have it:
- Camera and flash.
- Tripod.
- Laptop with photo editing software.
