The intended audience for this event includes:
This course is designed to give prosthetists a broad outline of the clinical treatment of patients with dental implants. It will cover the design of fixed and removable prosthetic solutions. In addition the criteria for number and locations of implants will be discussed. Impression procedures and provisionalisation are also described.
The following topics will be covered in this course:
- Patient diagnosis - suitability for overdentures, bars and fixed prosthesis
- Planning
- Implant placement, provisionalisation
- Restoration, overdentures, abutment selection, design
- CAD-CAM
- Maintenance

Dental prosthetists
This course is designed for prosthetists to aid the clinical diagnosis and use of dental implants. Diagnosis and treatment planning are described in depth together with the options for restoration.
