With a view to the unchanged challenges of the corona pandemic in Germany and the expected continuation of the extensive restriction of personal contacts by the federal government, states and municipalities at the beginning of the new year, the VDDI board of directors, the Society for the Promotion of Dental Industry mbH (GFDI , VDDI commercial enterprise) and Koelnmesse decided to postpone the IDS - International Dental Show.

IDS 2021 will now take place from September 22nd to 25th, 2021.

With this step, the organizers are reacting to the currently ongoing Corona policy, which may be extended in Germany in the new year 2021. By moving the 39th IDS to September, the organizers hope that more international partners and customers will come to Cologne again due to the expected improved health situation and easier travel.
