Basic Implant Fellowship contents include the theoretical basis and practical procedures for practitioners
who want to introduce implant dentistry. All procedures from digital planning to live surgery will be completed in 4 months.

1. Basic Essential Implantology

2. Basic Prosthetics Planning

Treatment for single missing teeth and partially edentulous arches, with the emphasis on practical implant restorative management techniques.

• Treatment planning with R2Gate, Risk assessment, Pre-implant prosthodontics, Bone density, and Biomechanical Stress
• Occlusal considerations = Implant Protected
• Cement or Screw retention
• Impressions (Analog) = closed tray vs open tray
• Loading and occlusal materials
• Laboratory Communication & Photography
• Provisionals
• Final Prostheses = indirect fabrication for prosthetic design and abutment selection
• Prostheses insertion and maintenance
• Common complications of implant prostheses – aetiology, prevention and management

Hands-on exercises = model-based

1. Use of restorative drivers both hand and machine
2. Requisite for ISQ
3. Impression techniques - analog, open tray, closed tray, splinting
4. Fabrication of direct provisionals
5. Fabrication of custom healing abutments
6. Ideal torque control and screw preload
7. Cementation techniques = copy and open abutment

3. Basic Surgical Techniques

The indications for single and two-stage of placement gained practical surgical anatomy,
a layered suturing technique for flab stability and treatment of healing complications, with practice on pig-jaws.

4. Implant Training Course - LIVE PATIENT (Malaysia)

11-16 Jun 2020 $22,000 +GST

Participants who have successfully passed the Basic Implant Courses will transit from theoretical to surgically
placing with live patients max. 15 implants.
Implement step-by-step implant surgical protocols on live patients under the direction of the course instructor.

 • Implement step-by-step implant surgical protocols on live patients under the direction of the course instructor
• Transition from theoretical to surgically placing implants in your office with predictability
• Increase knowledge and skill in the areas of flap design, implant placement, bone grafting, and suturing techniques
• Each doctor will place multiple implants (on average each attendee places 10-15 implants)
• Assist with multiple implants (as doctors are divided into groups of 2, each doctor in addition to placing around 10-15 implants, will assist a partner in placing his or her 10-15 implants as well)
