Graduating in 1991 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from The Univer-sity of Sydney, Dr Angelo Preketes immediately moved into private practice. Between 1998 and 2004 he obtained Graduate Diplomas in Clinical Dentistry at The University of Sydney in the areas of Oral Implants, and Conscious Sedation and Pain Control.

Dr Preketes is a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Dentistry, Australian Dental Association, Australian Society of Dental Anaesthesiology, Australian Society of Periodontology, Australian Society of Endodontics, and Australian Osseointegration Society. He also sits in the Dental Practice Committee and the Infection Control Committee for the Australian Dental Associa-tion and in the Council for the Australian Society of Dental Anaesthesiology.

In 2006, Dr Preketes decided to open his boutique Woollahra Dental Practice to provide quality services and an exceptional patient experience with a child friendly, family focus.

Dr. Preketes is qualified as an Advanced Life Support Level 2 provider with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC). He is a Visiting Dental Officer at the Intravenous Sedation Department of Westmead Hospital with teaching responsibilities at both the under-graduate and post-graduate levels in Emergency Management and Anxiety and Pain Control.
