Bronwyn Scopacasa graduated with a BDS from University of Adelaide and became a Fellow of the RACDS (General Stream) in 1983. Bronwyn has worked in the Special Needs Unit, Adelaide Dental Hospital for the last15 years managing patients with infectious diseases, head and neck cancer, organ transplants and bleeding disorders. Bronwyn has had a special interest in the management of patients with hepatitis C and have also been involved in hepatitis C research. In 2012, she co-authored a publication Dental and Orofacial Health and Hepatitis C which was published by the ASHM and the Department of Health and Ageing. Whilst continuing to work in the Special Needs Unit, she is currently employed as Director of the Specialist Restorative Unit and Acting Director of the Orthodontic Unit South Australian Dental Service.
