Dr Dunn has a national reputation as a leader in the field of cosmetic and implant dentistry. He is regularly called upon to present and educate his fellow colleagues on the latest techniques and methods utilised in cosmetic dental treatment in both Australia and overseas – including at Ivoclar Vivadent's 'International Symposium on Aesthetic Dentistry' in Cairns, Queensland, 2012. Dr Dunn has also lectured on implant surgery and implant-based prosthodontics for Nobel Biocare, the world's leading implant manufacturer, including the 2016 Global Symposium in NYC. He has published in numerous journals including the esteemed International Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.

Most recently, Dr Dunn has established his practice as a 'Centre for Digital Smile Design' following close collaboration with Brazilian Ceramist Dr Christian Coachman, creator of the 'Digital Smile Design' technique. This method is utilised by Dr Dunn to achieve for his patients, natural, highly-aesthetic and minimally invasive solutions. Most importantly, this improves laboratory and interdisciplinary communication and encourages patient interaction with their smile design and aesthetic outcomes, relative to their individual personality and psychology.

Dr Dunn's practice, The Macquarie Street Centre, overlooking Sydney's Royal Botanic Gardens, is restricted to Prosthodontics, specialising in cosmetic and implant reconstruction.
