Dr. Hamid Al-Hassiny has been practicing general dentistry for the past 30 years, 18 of which in New Zealand. He runs a modern 7-chair practice in Wellington. A early adopter of technology, he has been using CADCAM dentistry for almost 10 years, in which he has placed over to 3000 in-house milled restorations. Dr. Hamid has advanced experience in three different CADCAM systems (CEREC, Trios and Planmeca) and uses them daily in his practice in many different fields of dentistry including crown and bridge restorations, full mouth rehabilitation, dental implants, full mouth rehabilitation and digital smile design. Still working as a general dentist, Hamid is able to give key insights on how CADCAM is used on a day-to-day basis.
