Dr Ilay Maden BDS, PhD is a partner at a fully laser & digital, private dentistry practice on Harley Street, London. His practice is limited to Periodontology and Implantology while teaching dentists in laser dentistry for well over a decade.
Dr Ilay Maden studied dentistry and completed his Ph.D. for periodontology at University of Istanbul. He has received his Master of Science degree for Lasers in Dentistry from Aachen University, Germany. Since then, he has been teaching laser dentistry all around the world. He has held hundreds of theoretical and hands-on courses and has been a speaker in a number of international congresses on diode, Nd:YAG and Erbium lasers in dentistry in over 20 countries in Europe, Asia, and North America.
His work has been published internationally in Journal of Periodontology, International Journal of Medical Sciences, The International Magazine of Laser Dentistry, Journal of Laser and Health Academy, Cosmetic Dentistry and Hindawi Publishing Corporation.
Dr Maden is a board member of World Federation for Laser Dentistry, Lasers in Medical Sciences, Lasers in Dental Sciences, Journal of Laser and Health Academy, Laser – international magazine of laser dentistry, Global Periodontal Laser User Society.
Dr Maden is a reviewer for Journal of Californian Dental Association and a member of European Federation of Periodontology, European Academy of Osseointegration, Turkish Society of Periodontology and British Dental Association.
Dr Ilay Maden is the representative of Aachen Dental Laser Centre, Aachen University, Germany and World Federation for Laser Dentistry in the United Kingdom. He is also an Adjunct Faculty Member, thesis co-advisor and examiner at AALZ, an expert lecturer for Laser and Health Academy, a lecturer for German Association of Oral Implantology, Dental Online Collage by Deutscher Ärzte-Verlag and a training instructor for International Continuing Education Centre for Dental Implants; – IFZI, Nurnberg, Germany.
