Dr Cosson currently lectures for the Australasian College of Surgeons teaching trainee general and specialist surgeons in early management of severe trauma (EMST) and care of critically ill surgical patients (CCrISP). He lectures locally and overseas on basic and advanced treatment of facial fractures and reconstruction. After serving on the Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ANZAOMS) Committee for many years, Dr Cosson is now the Vice-President and takes up the role of President in 2015. Dr Cosson is an International Lecturer and Teacher. In 2008, he provided lectures in the Philippines, New Zealand and South Africa on advanced management of Facial Trauma and Surgery for placement of Implants in the jaws. He regularly teaches surgeons in care of patients and management of Trauma for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
