Dr Klaus-Dieter Bastendorf studied dentistry in Tübingen and took a doctoral degree in 1978. Since 1979 he worked in his own practice, since 2014 he is responsible for the prophylaxis, preventive dentistry, integration of the individual prophylaxis into daily practice, investigations over the technical and economic effectiveness of prevention in general practice in the dental office of Dr Strafela-Bastendorf.
Dr Bastendorf is a demanded speaker and author of numerous publications, such as “The simple and effective ways to the prophylaxis dental office”. From 1980 to 2000 he worked as a consultant for prosthetics, from 2002 until 2006 he had a teaching assignment for applied prophylaxis at the University of Heidelberg.
