Dr Tasmania completed his Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2004. He worked as a general practitioner for 5 years. Dr Tasmania went on to pursue postgraduate studies at the University of Otago starting in 2010 and completing a Doctor in Clinical Dentistry, specialising in Endodontics in 2012. His research topic was “Contact guidance of endodontic pathogens on micro-grooved polymethylmethacrylate discs”. Dr Tasmania took up part-time private work and contributed back to the University of Otago as a clinical tutor at the dental school from 2013 to early 2015. He is a member of the New Zealand Endodontic Society.

As a health care professional Dr Tasmania believes in quality health and well-being for all, and the patient/customer/client has always been first. He firmly believes in creating and working in a ‘healthy, happy, friendly and safe working environment’. He is also a firm believer that having the unwavering and strong support of family, community and spiritual up building is the essence towards completing the picture of a well-balanced holistic individual.
