Dr Mary E Miller

Dr Mary Miller graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1975 and has worked as a general dentist in Geelong and Melbourne CBD. She is interested in long term results of dental treatment and materials, as well as practice management. Her clinic, Women in Dentistry was established in 1995, located in Melbourne CBD.
She is an active community member of eviDent since 2011. She has been involved with voluntary work with Rotary in Vietnam, and the Royal Flying Doctors Service in north-west Victoria.
Through her membership of the ADA, she is currently involved in eviDent, a practice based research network aimed at assessing and improving dental treatment delivery and outcomes within the profession. This is a joint project with the University of Melbourne, the ADA and General Dental Practitioners (GDP).
In March 2012 and 2013 respectively, Dr Miller volunteered her dental services to aid in a Rotary humanitarian project in Vietnam, working in rural areas with primary schooled aged children and training local dentists. Also in October 2012, she dedicated her time visiting indigenous communities with the Royal Flying Doctor Service out in rural north-west Victoria in the Malee region.
She has a passion for skiing, bushwalking, yoga, Pilates, theatre and reading, plus family life with her three adult children.
