Dr Robert London is Clinical Professor and former Director of Graduate Periodontics at the University of Washington School of Dentistry in Seattle, Washington, USA. He has also served as Professor of Clinical Dentistry and Director of Graduate Periodontics at the University of Southern California and Professor and Director of Post-Doctoral Periodontics at Nova Southeastern University.

He received his dental degree from UCLA and his certificate in periodontics from the University of Washington. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and has been highly involved with osseointegrated implants and university training teams since the mid-1980s.

In addition to teaching in a graduate periodontics program, Dr London lectures extensively on a variety of periodontal topics. He has presented at many universities and in over 16 countries on five continents. He practised privately for many years before his full-time academic career, thus enabling a high approachable, pragmatic teaching style.
