Dr Wendy Cheung received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Graduate Diploma of Clinical Dentistry and Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Paediatric Dentistry) from The University of Adelaide. Wendy is currently a Lecturer and discipline co-ordinator in Paediatric Dentistry at the School of Dentistry, University of Adelaide. She has been involved in clinical teaching and lecturing since 2004 and was appointed to her part-time academic post in 2010. She has maintained research links with ARCPOH and continued her clinical practice with the SA Dental Service, the WCH and privately.
Wendy is an examiner for the Australian Dental Council and Secretary of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry (SA Branch). Before becoming a clinical academic, she worked in the Riverland for the SA Dental Service before returning to metropolitan Adelaide to take up a resident position, followed by a credited registrar position at the Adelaide Women’s and Children’s Hospital for her Doctor of Clinical Dentistry program.
