SPEAKER PROFILE
Mr Adam A Rogers
BOH (Melb), Grad.Dip.Psych (Hons)
Oral Health Therapist
AUSTRALIA
Adam Rogers is an OHT and current PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne. Graduating BOH in 2007, and honours in psychology in 2015, he has a keen interest in the influence of our thoughts and feelings on our dental health. Having worked extensively with high-risk populations to improve oral health, he preaches a strong advocacy for minimal intervention practice and health coaching as a method of reducing oral disease. Hoping to merge the fields of health psychology and dental health further, Adam’s current research is establishing evidence around the influence of momentary mood and emotional states on diet and behavioural choices that - in turn - influence one’s oral health.
