Samantha Khaw has completed her Dental Technology with Honours degree at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Otago. Samantha will be presenting her honours research on the dimensional accuracy of 3D printed dental models and how they are influenced by temperature. Samantha enjoys the combination of the technicalities and creativity of Dental Technology, however has been captivated by the research aspect this year. Now having completed B.DentTech, Samantha will experience a new side of Dental Technology, outside of the lab, through patient interactions in Postgraduate Clinical Dental Technology course in 2024 at the University of Otago.
