Dr Eric Stoopler is an Associate Professor of Oral Medicine and Director of the Oral Medicine Residency Program at the University of Pennsylvania (PENN) School of Dental Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Hospital Dentists and a Diplomate of both the American Board of Oral Medicine and the American Board of Special Care Dentistry.

He currently maintains an active clinical oral medicine practice at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and is a Consultant to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He is also actively involved in organised dentistry, a member of the Board of Trustees of the American Academy of Oral Medicine, and serves on a task force for the American Board of Oral Medicine.

Dr Stoopler has published over fifty articles and scientific abstracts and is contributing author to Burket’s Oral Medicine, 11th Edition, and the American Dental Association Guide to Dental Therapeutics, 5th Edition. Dr Stoopler is also a reviewer for several highly regarded dental and medical journals.
