Prof. Giulio Rasperini
Periodontist
ITALY
Prof. Giulio Rasperini received his degree in dentistry and specialized in Orthodontics. He is an active member of the Italian Society of Periodontology, the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (vice-president from 2016-2017), he is a full member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (BAAD) and an ITI fellow.
He serves on the Editorial Boards for several publications, including: the International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry, as well as the Journal of Implant & Advanced Clinical Dentistry; whilst also being a guest reviewer for the Journal of Dental Research, Journal of Periodontology, Journal of Clinical Periodontology, Clinical Oral Implant Research, the International Dental Journal and Quintessance International.
He has been the recipient of a number of research-focused awards in the area of Periodontology & Implantalogy. These include: International Quintessence Publishing Award (Boston 2000 - 2004), Goldman (SIdP 1996 -2010), Clinical Research Award EAO (Glasgow 2010), R. Earl Robinson Periodontal Regeneration Award (AAP Los Angeles 2012) & Align Research Award (California 2013).
Prof Rasperini currently serves as the Professor in Periodontology at the University of Milan (Italy), an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Michigan (USA), and lectures extensively around the world. He also maintains a private practice specializing in periodontics and implant therapy in Piacenza, Italy.
